Ci Research is an established and experienced full service agency that offers a flexible, intelligent and tailored approach to market research and research consultancy. We have over 20 years experience of working for clients across the private and public sectors and are specialists in conducting local government research.
Our clients include schools, colleges and universities as well as local authorities, funding agencies, children’s centres and early years development teams. More recently our clients have included awarding bodies, sector skills councils, and a variety of other education and training companies.

Learners
We have extensive experience of undertaking learner satisfaction surveys and needs assessments with children, young people and adult learners. Projects have included course feasibility assessments, evaluation of learning materials and new product development.
Work with young people not in education, employment and training
From evaluations of the impact of education maintenance allowances to the development of absence management policies we have worked with a variety of hard to engage young people to understand their needs from education including teenage parents, young offenders and young people in care.
Learning Providers
Our work on behalf of sector skills councils, regional development agencies, awarding bodies and learning and skills councils has seen us undertake large scale surveys of all types of training provide including work-based provision and private training providers. We have also completed in-depth evaluations of learning programmes and new initiatives in education with schools, colleges and higher education institutions.
Employers
Our research in education has involved us consulting with employers both about their training needs and also about their views on curriculum design and qualification frameworks. We have evaluated a number employer engagement projects and delivered impact assessments on behalf of funding agencies throughout the UK.

Using qualitative and quantitative techniques we have researched staff, stakeholders and strategic decision makers we have undertaken a wide variety of research into workforce development and the skills agenda.
